Get Excited! Pine Releases Community Day Line Up

The annual event is capped off with a fireworks display.

With summer official here, it’s time to start thinking about one of Pine Township’s biggest warm-weather events—Community Day.

This year’s event kicks off at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Pine Community Park. The celebration includes food and beverages as well as a variety of games and crafts for kids.

Other attractions include a giant slide, jumbo bouncer, hot air balloon, the Eurobungy Trampoline and the trackless train ride.

As for the entertainment, dancers from the Fairgrieve School of Dance will be featured on stage. There also will be live ice sculpting, a watermelon eating contest, pony rides and the 3-WS Sports Challenge.

Later on in the day, Mercedez Band takes the stage for their first of two sets, followed by the annual pie-eating Contest. The fun-filled evening will be capped off with fireworks by Pyrotechnico at 9:30 p.m.
