Middlesex Teen Waives Hearing on Richland Home Invasion Charges

Leo James Nealon is charged with burglary and conspiracy.

A Middlesex teen charged with burglary in a Richland Township home invasion waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Suzanne Blaschak. Leo James Nealon, 18, is charged with felony counts of burglary and conspiracy. The commonwealth withdrew a misdemeanor count of possessing instruments of crime. Northern Regional Police arrested Nealon and a 17-year-old on Sept. 17 after a break-in at a home on Sandy Hill Road in northeastern Richland Township. Hearing Postponed for Teen Charged With Two Felonies in Richland Home Invasion

A preliminary hearing for a Middlesex teen charged with burglary in a Richland Township home invasion has been postponed until Wednesday, Oct. 3. Leo James Nealon's hearing before Magisterial District Judge Suzanne Blaschak originally was scheduled for yesterday (Sept. 26). Nealon, 18, is charged with felony counts of burglary and conspiracy, as well as a misdemeanor count of possessing instruments of crime. Northern Regional Police arrested Nealon and a 17-year-old on Sept. 17 after a break-in at a home on Sandy Hill Road in northeastern Richland Township. Teen Charged With Two Felonies in Richland Home-Invasion Burglary

Northern Regional police arrested Leo Nealon and a 17-year-old on Monday.

A Middlesex Township teen charged in a Richland Township home-invasion burglary was arraigned Tuesday morning and charged with two felonies. Leo James Nealon, who turned 18 on Sept. 12, was charged with a felony count of burglary and a felony count of conspiracy—burglary, as well as a misdemeanor count of possessing instruments of crime—criminal instruments. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 26 before Magisterial District Judge Suzanne Blaschak. Northern Regional Police arrested Nealon about 7:15 p.m. Monday at his Middlesex Township (Valencia) home, Chief T. Latest arrest comes hours after Northern Regional Police officers arrest a 17-year-old at a home on Sandy Hill Road.

UPDATE: Northern Regional Police arrested a second suspect about 7:15 p.m. Monday in a home-invasion burglary in Richland Township. Leo Nealon, 18, turned himself in at his Middlesex Township home after police contacted and spoke with him by cell phone, Northern Regional Police Chief T. Robert Amann said.  He is charged with burglary, Amann said. Police arrested a 17-year-old earlier Monday afternoon at a home on Sandy Hill Road in northeastern Richland Township. Northern Regional police were called to the home about 3:45 p.m. by a 17-year-old resident who was home alone when he heard someone trying to break into the home, Amann said.
