UPDATE: A winter weather advisory remains in effect Friday and the National Weather Service warns motorists of dangerous travel conditions because of very cold temperatures, strong winds and snow showers. The weather service forecast snow accumulation of one to two inches, along with wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph, in an area that includes Western Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio. Temperatures will be in the lower 20s. "A winter weather advisory for snow and blowing snow means that visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and blowing snow," the National Weather Service website states.
