Pine Gives OK to Euro-Academy Preschool
Enrollment will be limited to ease traffic concerns.
Euro-Academy has received approval from Pine supervisors to convert a building formerly used as a church into a preschool on Pearce Mill Road. Supervisors approved a land development plan for the school Dec. 6 after expressing concern about traffic stacking up at the entrance during drop-off and pickup times. "My concern is safety," said Supervisor Philip D. Henry, who said he was concerned about the possibility of cars sticking out onto Pearce Mill Road. "I'm in favor of your school … but, safety first." Euro-Academy is planning to convert the former Christian Science church at 210 Pearce Mill Road into a school serving children ages 2 ½ to 6.
