Pine-Richland School Board to Pay $15,000 for Consultant in Search for Superintendent
Superintendent Dr. Mary Bucci's contract will not be renewed when it ends June 30.
The Pine-Richland School Board voted unanimously Monday to pay $15,000 to the Pennsylvania School Board Association for consultation services in the search for a new superintendent. The services include advertising, recruiting, reference checks, as well as selection and screening assistance. The current superintendent, Dr. Mary Bucci, will not be retained when her contract expires June 30, the board decided in a split vote in October. "Administrator/Superintendent Search Services work with (a) school district, from start to finish, in seeking candidates for administrative or superintendent positions," according to the PSBA website. My bad. It says "Superintendents across the state are not pleased with the new rules". I'm glad at least someone read the link. And you are rude in your attempt to squelch the views of people who think PRSD and the school board are wasteful and incompetent.   more ›
