Expanded Pine-Richland High School to be Dedicated Thursday
Public is invited to the celebration and tours.
Wondering what the recently renovated and expanded Pine-Richland High School looks like on the inside? The public is invited to a 6:30 p.m. dedication ceremony Thursday. Afterward, tours will be conducted of the new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Center, as well as the updated music, global studies, food court and cafeteria areas from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitors can taste complimentary mini samples of the meals provided by Pine-Richland's food service provider, Sodexo Inc. Can anyone explain why the dedication and all of the associated activities (tours, food, etc.) are happening the same night as the high school open house? I understand now why they eliminated the traditional "follow the bell" system for open house due to the chaos that will be going on. But why not have the two major events on separate nights?
