Gently used items are sought for a treasure sale to benefit St. Barnabas Charities’ Pennies for Patients campaign. Items may be dropped off at 1200 Curran Court on St. Barnabas Health System’s Valencia campus from 1 to 4 p.m. May 3 and 21. Additional drop-off times can be scheduled. The treasure sale will be June 21 and 22 on the lawn at The Washington Place at St. Barnabas. Clean and functional items being sought include: No clothing, mattresses, suitcases, computers, books or records will be accepted. Those donating items may request a receipt for a tax deduction. Luncheon will benefit St. Barnabas's Pennies for Patients campaign.
Tickets are on sale for the "Spring Salads and Sundaes Luncheon" to benefit St. Barnabas's Pennies for Patients campaign. St. Barnabas Charities Auxiliary is offering the salad buffet and sundae bar at 11:30 a.m. April 20 at The Woodlands Lodge, located on St. Barnabas's Valencia campus. The $18 luncheon price includes five Chinese auction tickets. Additional tickets will be available for purchase during the event. Chinese auction packages feature themes of wine and dining, Pittsburgh sports, spa and relaxation and more. St. Barnabas Charities is offering an Easter candy sale to benefit its Pennies for Patients campaign. Among the items for sale will be Plueger’s boxed chocolates, jellybeans, and novelty items. Prices start at $1.00. The sale is Wednesday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Village at St. Barnabas and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Arbors at Valencia Woods. Proceeds from the Easter candy sale will benefit the Pennies for Patients campaign, which is an effort to collect more than 3 million pennies to support the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
