Nearby: Armed with Shotgun, Man Holds Up Cranberry Gas Station

Police release surveillance pictures in hopes someone will recognize the suspect.

Cranberry Township police are asking for help in tracking down a man who, armed with a shotgun, robbed the BP gas station on Route 19 in Cranberry Tuesday night. According to Cranberry police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino, the man entered the store around 10:50 p.m. and ordered the cashier to "give him the money." The cashier turned over an undisclosed amount of cash before the robber ran from the store.  Mascellino said the incident took less than a minute from the time the man walked in and ran out. Police searched the area with the help of a K-9 officer, but were not able to locate the suspect.  He is described as a white, with a thin build, about 5-foot-9 inches to 6-feet tall. Nearby: Police Searching for Suspects in Armed Home Invasion in Cranberry

Three men break into a residence at the Laurelwood Apartment complex demanding money and drugs.

Cranberry Police are investigating after three armed men broke into a residence at the Laurelwood Apartment complex off Rochester Road in Cranberry Thursday night and demanded drugs and money. According to police, the men entered the townhouse, which is occupied by five construction workers temporarily working in the Pittsburgh area, at about 8:05 p.m. The suspects, who were carrying at least one long gun and a handgun, bound the men while they ransacked the apartment, police said. Within 15 minutes of the break-in, two other occupants of the apartments arrived home and surprised the suspects, according to police. Suspect in Wexford BP Robbery, Other Holdups Released on Bail in October

Court records show Matthew McDonald, 19, was released from jail after posting bond in October. He is awaiting trial for an April case in which he is charged with simple assault and harassment in Washington County.

The Washington County man charged with robbing the BP gas station and convenience store at T-Bones plaza in Wexford and a Chartiers Township gas station Nov. 13 was free on bond at the time of the robberies, according to court documents. Matthew Clark McDonald, 19, now is back in the Washington County Jail, unable to post $100,000 bond. He is one of four men named Tuesday as suspects in the BP holdup and in holdups in other communities around Allegheny and Washington counties. "These individuals are also involved in robberies in Washington, Chartiers Township, Upper St. Clair and Castle Shannon," Northern Regional Police Chief T. Robert Amann said. Do You Recognize This Man? Police Release Surveillance Photos of Robbery Suspect

Police say this man, armed with a gun, held up the BP Gas station and convenience store in Wexford Tuesday morning.

Northern Regional Police  have released surveillance photos of a man they say is responsible for the armed robbery at the BP Gas station and convenience store located in the T-Bones shopping plaza on Route 910 near the I-79 interchange in Wexford on Tuesday morning. Police Chief T. Robert Amann said a white man, about 6 feet tall and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans, held up the convenience store between the gas pumps at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday. Amann said the man showed a handgun to store workers.  After the robbery, police said the suspect ran across Route 910 and jumped into a car that was parked at Soergel's market. The vehicle was described as a grey small vehicle, possibly a Dodge Avenger, which drove off on southbound …

No one is hurt, although police say the suspect did display a handgun.
