Allegheny County Courts, Ross Township Offices Close for Good Friday
Port Authority transit is running on its regular weekday schedule.
Allegheny County courts and court records office will be closed today for Good Friday, as will the District Attorney's office, county officials said. All divisions of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office also will be closed except for the real estate and civil divisions. County Executive Rich Fitzgerald's office and other administrative county offices will be open. Port Authority bus, light-rail and incline service will run on its regular weekday schedule but the Downtown Service Center is closed. The authority's Twitter account will not be staffed but customer service phone lines will operate from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Ross Township Municipal Center and Community Center is closed today through Sunday in observance of the holiday.
