North Park is a large community park spanning three townships, including Pine. The park includes activities for nearly everyone - pet lovers can take their dogs for a run in the off-leash fields, children can play in one of many playgrounds, naturalists can visit the nature center and walk down trails, golfers enjoy an 18-hole golf course, and water lovers can fish or boat in the lake. Not to be forgotten, athletes can tone up by running, biking or jogging down one of the many trails with natural scenery.
The park also includes an ice skating rink in the winter and a pool in the summer. There are horseshoe throwing pits, picnic areas, basketball and tennis courts, football and soccer fields, a boathouse with boat rentals, and even a horse showing ring. There are many events throughout the summer, such as concerts in the park and movies. North Park also hosts the Marshall Island Wildfowl Reserve.
