Fish and Pierogi Featured Friday at St. Richard Catholic Church's Fish Fry

The 15th annual fish fry will be from 4-7 p.m.

That is what  will be selling Friday when it has its 15th annual fish fry from 4-7 p.m. in its social hall.

For $10, hungry diners get a 12- to 16-ounce filet of fish, fried or baked; cole slaw; a side of french fries or macaroni and cheese; a roll; and a homemade dessert.

A child's meal for $5 includes a half portion of fish, cole slaw, a side of french fries or macaroni and cheese, a roll and a homemade dessert.

Fish sandwiches are $7.

Homemade pierogi are offered as a side item — three for $3.

A side of mac and cheese or french fries also sells for $3.

For diners planning a future dinner, frozen potato-and-cheese pierogi also will be on sale — $8 for a dozen.

Church member Mary Haenig said the church usually serves about 950 dinners at the annual event.

After the dinner, the church's youth will present live Stations of the Cross at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary.
