Easter Candy Sale Will Benefit St. Barnabas' Pennies for Patients

Pflueger's Chocolates will be sold at St. Barnabas on March 28th.

St. Barnabas Charities is offering an Easter candy sale to benefit its Pennies for Patients campaign.

Among the items for sale will be Plueger’s boxed chocolates, jellybeans, and novelty items. Prices start at $1.00.

The sale is Wednesday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Village at St. Barnabas and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Arbors at Valencia Woods.

Proceeds from the Easter candy sale will benefit the Pennies for Patients campaign, which is an effort to collect more than 3 million pennies to support the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.

In 2011 alone, the Free Care Fund provided more than $5.2 million worth of care to poor and low-income patients at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas.
