One of the top teams in major league baseball right now, the Pirates lost 13-0 Thursday to the St. Louis Cardinals, the team’s main division rival.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Pirates and saved the Cards from a sweep.

The Buccos enter this weekend’s series against the Colorado Rockies with a 1 1/2-game lead over the Cardinals in the National League Central division, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
