Pirates Legend Doug Drabek Appearing at Dick's Sporting Goods in Cranberry

The former pitcher will be signing autographs.

In celebration of the Pittsburgh Pirates first playoff appearance in more than 20 years, former Pirates pitcher Doug Drabek will make a special appearance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Dick’s Sporting Goods along Route 228 in Cranberry.

A National League Cy Young Award Winner in 1990, Drabek, who pitched for the Pirates from 1987 to 1992, will meet with fans and signs autographs.

Drabek isn’t the only former Pirates to make an appearance in the community.

Former pitcher Steve Blass, now a broadcast announcer for the Pirates, will be greeting fans from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Market District in Pine.

Former Pirates catcher Manny Sanguillen also will be appearing from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Giant Eagle along Route 19 in Cranberry.
