Pine Native Wins Frank B. Fuhrer Jr. Invitational

The tournament took place at the Pittsburgh Field Club in Fox Chapel.

Pine native Mike Van Sickle has won one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in western Pennsylvania.

The 2005 Pine-Richland graduate captured the Frank B. Fuhrer Jr. Invitational at the Pittsburgh Field Club in Fox Chapel, according to the Tribune Review.

Van Sickle finished 1-under par and his first-place prize was $35,000.
