Richland Township is partnering with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to construct the court in Richland Community Park.

Richland hockey enthusiasts have scored a new dek hockey court.

Township officials have teamed up with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Highmark to construct the 155-foot-by-75-foot court, according to the Tribune Review.

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the year.

The court is part of Project Power Play—a program to build a dozen dek hockey courts in the Pittsburgh area by 2016.
