Checklist: What to Bring to Tonight's PRHS Homecoming Game

The Rams take on Shaler at 7:30 p.m., but you will want to get to Pine-Richland Stadium early.

The take on the Shaler Titans at 7:30 p.m. tonight for homecoming and senior night at Pine-Richland Stadium.

Here are a few things you need to know about tonight’s festivities:

Timing:

Get there early. The game starts at 7:30 p.m., but the stadium will be busy before that with a 6:45 p.m. pregame show to honor the senior athletes and present the homecoming court.

Also, food booths around the stadium will be open early for your dining pleasure.

Traffic and Parking

The interstate will be like a parking lot because it will be limited to one lane in each direction. We're talking long, long waits.

Warrendale Road and Babcock Boulevard, which border the school, can become congested also, so give yourself plenty of time to travel and park. You can park at or its neighbor,

What to Bring:

  • Toiletries, pre-paid phone cards, shaving gel and razors, diabetic socks and anything else you might think a veteran would like. The Pine-Richland to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11.  The AF JROTC is helping with the drive. A table will be set up inside the stadium to collect the items.
  • Warm clothes – the temperature is supposed to go down into the low 30s Friday night, so we’re talking winter coats, gloves, hand warmers, scarves, boots.
  • Blanket to put on the bleachers – those metal seats are cold!
  • Your appetite –- a number of booster groups will sell food around the stadium.
  • Money – you’ll want to support the fundraising efforts of the booster groups selling food.
  • Team spirit to cheer on your favorite team.
