Brandon Saad Named to Chicago Blackhawks 23-Man Roster
The Pine-Richland hockey standout most recently played for the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.
When the Chicago Blackhawks start the 2013 hockey season Saturday, Pine-Richland hockey star Brandon Saad will be on the roster.
The Blackhawks' play the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings at 3 p.m. ET.
Saad made the Blackhawks' season-opening roster last year and played two games before being assigned to the Saginaw Spirits. He returned to the Blackhawks for the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The winger has been playing for the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs. He was named AHL Player of the Week last week.
