Also needed for registration is a just a copy of the student’s immunization record and any custody papers. (No copies will be made at the school.)

Depending upon the grade the child is entering, parents may receive a physician and dentist report form at registration to submit to their doctors and return to school. If the student is transferring from another school, a request for a copy of their report card and school records will need to be completed. Registration will be complete once all forms are submitted and the non-refundable fee of $75 per first child and $50 for each additional child is paid.

St. Alphonsus School, which traces its educational history back to 1889, integrates Catholic teachings with the culture and traditions of the family and meeting the needs of the neighborhoods. The use and implementation of the Guidelines of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the standards of the state of Pennsylvania determine the curriculum. It is one of the largest parish elementary schools in the diocese.
