“Our goal is to beat our record from last year, which is filling three-and-a-half school buses,” said Brachoki. “If we could even fill four, I’d be satisfied.”

All of the items collected will be given to the Marine Toys for Tots organization, which is being fronted by the radio station 96.1 KISS. The items will then be distributed to local families who are suffering from hard times this holiday season.

“We just hope that people donate and that they can come out to Wal-Mart or the high school and help us beat our goal and get four buses full of toys for Toys for Tots,” Brachoki said.

If you missed the collection this weekend and would still like to make a contribution, you can also bring your donations to the high school from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
