Pine-Richland's Spring Musical Stars a Guy Dumped at the Altar

'The Wedding Singer' will be performed March 15-17 at Pine-Richland Middle School.

Everyone loves a wedding, with the possible exception of those who are dumped at the altar.

In The Wedding Singer, 's 2012 spring musical, wedding singer Robbie Hart is left at the altar by his fiancee, Linda.

Depressed and broken-hearted, Robbie feels he can no longer sing at weddings, but his best friend, Sammy, talks him into trying. The result is a hilarious disaster in which he "bites the best man and the bride has to be sedated."

Theater-goers will see Robbie try to figure out how to get his groove, and his love, back. But that love might not be with the woman who dumped him because he's been developing feelings for his co-worker, waitress Julia Sullivan.

In the video above, Katie Colosimo plays the role of Linda as she sings "A Note From Linda," explaining why she just left Robbie Hart at the altar.

The show runs a little more than two hours, not including intermission. (A previous article stated the show runs 90 minutes, not including intermission.) Of course, it's so much fun, it doesn’t seem that long at all.
