“Road Trip America” is the theme for this year’s parade, which begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at on Logan Road. It then wends its way a short distance over to the high school campus where it will stop at Pine-Richland stadium.

The parade route is entirely on the campus of the side-by-side schools, so no road closure is planned for the Red Belt [Warrendale Road] or Babcock Boulevard.

Members of Pine-Richland’s homecoming court, Air Force JROTC, band, cheerleading squad and youth football teams will be marching in the parade alongside the floats.

Each class will create a float with the “Road Trip America” theme: seniors – New York City; juniors – Las Vegas; sophomores – Los Angeles; freshmen – New Orleans.
