Pavlin told The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck that she adopted Axl from the Butler County Humane Society and that the pup, because of his high energy, has helped her get into shape.

According to that report, Pavlin, a teacher at Hance Elementary School watched the program with her students at 11 a.m. Friday on WTAE-TV, Channel 4.
