Pine-Richland School District Admininstrators, Support Staff Accept Pay Freeze

No pay raises are in store for the administrators and support staff for 2011-2012.

Tthe Pine-Richland School District announced today that administrators and administrative support staff have accepted a pay freeze for the 2011-2012 school year. 

A new compensation plan for Act 93 administrative employees and administrative support staff employees has been approved but does not involve any raises, according to a statement on the district website.

The superintendent and assistant superintendent had volunteered to accept a pay freeze earlier.

The Pine-Richland School District had approved its budget at their June 13 school board meeting.

The Board of Education also thanked employees who agreed to the freeze, according to the statement on the district website.
