New Head of Eden Christian Academy Hired

Thomas R. Hughes will oversee all facets of the school. He starts his new job in July.

The Board of Directors of has hired Thomas R. Hughes as the new head of school for ECA, effective July 9. 

Hughes will be responsible for oversight and leadership of all facets at Eden Christian Academy. He graduated from Lambuth College with a bachelor of science degree and has a masters degree in education from the University of Memphis. 

Hughes currently holds the headmaster position at Shoals Christian School in Florence, AL and was previously upper school head and academic dean at Little Rock Christian Academy. 

Hughes has a passion for Christian education and a dedication for the continued spiritual and academic development in student’s lives. 

Eden Christian Academy is the largest independent Christian school in the greater Pittsburgh area, serving more than 590 students at three campuses in the North Hills area.
