Seminar on Speech Therapy

 Maureen Weckerly, Speech Language Pathologist with St. Barnabas Rehabilitation, will lead a discussion titled “How to Handle Swallowing Problems” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road. Her discussion will focus on Dysphagia - pain and/or difficulty swallowing including: 

  • Causes, symptoms and signs of Dysphagia
  • Strategies for safe swallowing
  • Meal time tips
