Doc's Talk - Hospice Volunteering

Denise DeMarco, Director of Hospice at St. Barnabas Medical Center, will lead a discussion titled "How Can You Make a Difference? Become a Hospice Volunteer" at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 11 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road. DeMarco will speak about how Hospice volunteers benefit patients, benefits Hospice volunteers receive in return and the training St. Barnabas provides for Hospice volunteers. DeMarco's presentation is part of St. Barnabas Medical Center's monthly Doc's Talk series, in which health care representatives share information with St. Barnabas residents and the public. St. Barnabas Medical Center is open to the public and provides outpatient medical care in a number of specialties through it's nearly two dozen practitioners.
