5th Grade Parent & Student Program: Alliance Against Highly Addictive Drugs

Highly addictive and other dangerous drugs are becoming more and more prevalent in the northern area of Allegheny County.  Pine-Richland and other regional school districts have joined together as an "Alliance" to take immediate preventive actions against this "real and dangerous threat" to our children.  This program has been attended by hundreds of parents in other local school districts and has received very positive responses.

The video "Listen" will be shown. This is a powerful presentation that was locally produced and gives intense first-hand testimonial of the tragic effect that drugs have had on local families.  Following the presentation, facilitated discussions will be held with parents and students separately and as a group.

All fifth grade students, parents, and teacher are invited to attend this very important parent and student program!
