Deadline is Friday for Pine-Richland Students to Pay Activity/Athletic Fee

The $80-per-student fee applies to middle school and high school students.

Those failing to pay by the deadline will be deemed ineligible to participate in various activities, including the prom, according to the district's policy.

At a school board meeting earlier this week, Assistant Finance Director Ryan Manzer said the district was at about 52 percent of where it wanted to be in the collections.

An automated payment system makes it easy to pay online via credit card or electronic check with no additional costs.

  • The Pine-Richland School Board approved an $80 activity fee at its planning/regular board meeting July 18 for each student in grades seven through 12.  
  • Payment of the fee will allow each student to participate in an unlimited number of sports and student activities. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunches will be exempt.
