McCandless Crossing Update: Let the Digging Begin
Dozens of trees and hundreds of tons of earth are being moved to make way for the final phase of the development.
What had been a thick grove of trees between McKnight Road and Babcock Boulevard is slowly disappearing as site preparation continues for the fourth and final phase of McCandless Crossing. (see video).
It will include as many as nine restaurants, six of which have committed to the project, as well as 50 townhomes and a 12-screen Cinemark Movie Theater for starters.
Developers hope many of the restaurants and perhaps the theater, are open by the summer of 2014.
