What's Open and Closed on Columbus Day?
Will you do anything special on the day that honors Christopher Columbus?
Columbus Day is celebrated Monday with the closing of some, but not all, government offices.
Federal, state and county offices are closed along with courts.
In the Pine-Richland community, it will pretty much be just another day in the neighborhood. Some places will be closed, though.

For instance, Pine-Richland schools will be closed. But the Pine-Richland School Board will hold its monthly planning meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the district's administration building, 702 Warrendale Road, Gibsonia.
Offices for Pine and Richland townships will be open as usual. So will Northern Tier Library.
