Roadwork on West Ingomar Road in McCandless Begins Wednesday

The project is included in a $2.1 million contract with Derry Construction Co. Inc. for improvements on several roads in Allegheny County.

Work to improve West Ingomar Road in McCandless Township begins Wednesday, weather permitting, according to an announcement from PennDOT District 11.

Crews will mill, pave and perform base repairs on about 1.2 miles of West Ingomar Road from just west of Route 19 (Perry Highway) to Highland Road.

Work will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through mid-October. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane, with use alternated by flag crews.
