Richland Officials Green Light New Bank
The approval was given to Dollar Bank at a June 19 meeting.
Richland Township supervisors approved the plan for a new Dollar Bank branch, according to the Tribune Review.
Dollar Bank reportedly plans to build a much larger branch at Richland Mall. The current bank will remain open while the new one is built.
Before construction can start, Dollar Bank officials must get permission from Wal-Mart to plant additional vegetation next to the existing Dollar Bank. Wal-Mart reportedly owns the slice of land. The additional vegetation is needed for the township's landscaping requirements, according to the newspaper.
