Guide Rail Repairs Monday on Parkway North to Cause Delays
Single-lane closures will occur, weather permitting, in several spots on I-279.
Monday motorists might find a slowdown in their commute if they travel Interstate 279/Parkway North.
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11 announced that crews would be repairing guide rails from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in several locations on the interstate. Inbound restrictions will begin at 10 a.m.
Travelers can expect intermittent, short-term single-lane closures between the East Street (Exit 2) and the I-79 interchanges, PennDOT said in a statement.

The prime contractor for the repairs is Penn Line Services Inc.
