Pine Supervisors Approve 43-Lot Pleasant Ridge Development

Plan calls for single-family homes on Mount Pleasant Road.

Pleasant Ridge—a 43-lot planned residential development in Pine Township—is a step closer to construction.

The Pine Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to grant revised final approval for the development of single-family homes on Mount Pleasant Road near Franklin Road, at the Butler-Allegheny county line.

Pine Ridge Commons LP is the developer and Ryan Homes will be the builder.

Larry Kurpakus, director of code administration and land development, said the 53-acre Pleasant Ridge planned residential development was granted tentative approval with conditions in May 2007, but Allegheny County denied recording the plan because several lots crossed township and county lines.

The modified plan reduces the number of approved lots from 44 to 43 and modifies lines so the lots are contained within one township and county, Kurpakus said.
