PennDOT Plans Guide Rail Repairs on I-79, I-376

Expect lane closures and restrictions.

Plan your Saturday travels carefully - you might run into delays on I-79 and I-376.

Intermittent, short-term single-lane and shoulder closures will occur in several locations on I-79 and I-376 (Parkways East and West) from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday, weather permitting, according to PennDOT District 11.

"The brief lane closures and restrictions are necessary as contractor crews conduct guide rail repairs," a PennDOT announcement states. "All exits and ramps will remain open."
