Patch Special Election Guide: Here's Where to Go to Vote on Tuesday

Voters in the 40th District will choose a candidate today (Tuesday) to fill the remaining term of former Sen. Jane Orie, who was  to 2 ½ to 10 years in prison after her March conviction of using her legislative staff to perform political work. 

Pine-Richland Patch is reminding you to get out to the polls and vote in the special election.

Review the Pine-Richland Patch 2012 Election coverage to get the scoop on Democrat candidate and Republican candidate . Wexford automotive dealer Don Bindas is running as a  candidate. 

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The  doesn't apply until November. To prepare voters, however, officials at each polling place will be asking for a photo identification card.

While you don't have to produce one Tuesday, you will in the general election in November.
