Two Burglaries Under Investigation in Pine Township

Northern Regional Police charge Mars man in third burglary.

Northern Regional police are investigating two burglaries of Pine Township homes.

Police Chief T. Robert Amann said Thursday that 29-year-old Matthew Lohr, of Mars, has been charged in a third burglary—it occurred Sept. 13 at a home on Old State Road in Pine Township.

In all three burglaries, jewelry was taken, Amann said.

Still under investigation is a burglary on Sept. 13 that occurred at a home on Babcock Boulevard between Old State Road and Lake MacLeod.

On Sept. 23, a home was burglarized between 9 a.m. and noon on Limerick Road in Pine Township.
