Traffic Blotter: Vehicles Collide at Pearce Mill-Graham Road Intersection

Northern Regional Police Department provided the following information.

A 2001 GMC Savana making a left turn onto Pearce Mill Road in Pine Township collided with a Suzuki Reno about 10:25 a.m. Aug. 22 , according to a report.

Troy Trudeau, 23, of Pittsburgh, told police he pulled onto Pearce Mill after stopping at the stop sign on eastbound Graham Road, the report states. Trudeau did not see the Suzuki coming down Pearce Mill until after he started making the left turn, according to the report.

The Suzuki driver, 65-year-old Jeriann Patton, of Valencia, told police she was southbound on Pearce Mill Road and just started around the curve when the van pulled in front of her, police said.

McCandless-Franklin Park Ambulance Authority responded, but no one was transported.

Rear-End Collision at Route 910 and Bauer Drive in Richland

A 20-year-old Bradford Woods man told police he “looked down for a minute” and did not realize the car in front of him had stopped on Route 910 in Richland Township on Aug. 22, police said.

Bradley Weischedel's Chevrolet ran into the back of a Buick driven by 18-year-old Natalie Regan, of Gibsonia, police reported.

Regan had stopped to make a left onto Bauer Drive in Richland Township, the police report states.

 

17-Year-Old Driver Collides with GMC Sierra When Changing Lanes

A 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup changing lanes on northbound Route 8 in Richland Township collided with a GMC Sierra on Aug. 20 near the Route 910 intersection, Northern Regional police reported.

The pickup, driven by a 17-year-old from Valencia, moved from the curb lane into the passing lane without proper clearance and struck the Sierra driven by 45-year-old Raymond S. Hepp, of Allison Park, police said.

 

Two Vehicles Collide at Intersection in Pine Township

One woman was injured when a Toyota Corolla and BMW collided Aug. 20 at the intersection of Warrendale and Franklin roads in Pine Township, police said.

The Toyota's driver—Amber Fleming, 21, of Pittsburgh—told police she made a right onto westbound Warrendale Road after stopping at the stop sign on southbound Franklin Road, the police report states.

Gina Truckley, 44, Sarver, said she swerved to her left, but her BMW was unable to miss the Toyota, police said.

McCandless-Franklin Park Ambulance Authority transported Truckley to UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry.
