Traffic Blotter: No One Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Route 19

Northern Regional Police Department provided the following information.

No one was injured Saturday afternoon when a Honda Civic changing lanes on Route 19 collided with two other vehicles, according to a police report.

Jean Candiotti, 18, of Mars, told police he was trying to merge into the right lane near the North Chapel intersection when he ran into a Lexus that was passing him on the right side, the report states.

As Candiotti came back into the left lane, he ran into an Acura, police said.

Police identified the Lexus driver as 52-year-old Mary Hart, of Pittsburgh. Jacob Jopling, 29, of Pittsburgh drove the Acura, said police.

Rear-End Collision on Route 910 at Limerick Road in Pine

A 2004 Chevy 2500 traveling on Route 910 ran into the back of a Mercedes that was stopped to make a left onto Limerick Road March 14 in Pine Township, police said.

Benjamin Sligh, 51, of Midland drove the Chevy, and W. Scott Nettrour, 74, of Allison Park, drove the Mercedes, said police.

 

Wexford Woman Backs into Dodge Ram

A 26-year-old Wexford woman running late for work March 12 backed into a Dodge Ram parked behind her car at and then left, according to a police report.

Using information from a witness, police contacted Nicole Watson at work, the report states. She told them her Chevrolet Cavalier hit the Dodge Ram and that she planned to notify management at the Wexford apartment complex later in the day, police said.

The 2007 Dodge Ram owner, Gunnar Frantz of Gibsonia, told police he did not want to pursue charges but wanted insurance to take care of the damage to his truck, said police.

 

Rear-End Collision on Route 910 at Dickey Road in Richland

A Toyota Matrix ran into the back of a Subaru that was waiting to make a left turn onto Dickey Road from Route 910 about 7 p.m. March 12, according to a police report.

Shirley J. Rudolchick, 49, of Tarentum, told police she saw the Subaru as she came around the turn but could not stop in time, said police.

Sam Edwards, 55, of Saxonburg, drove the Subaru Legacy, according to the police report.
