UPDATE: Tree Cleared From Road; Route 910 Reopens in Pine Township

Busy road was closed temporarily.

Traffic is moving smoothly on Route 910 in Pine Township on Friday evening now that a downed tree has been removed and utility lines have been secured.

The busy state-maintained road was closed between Killarney Road and Church Road in Pine Township around 4 p.m. because of a downed tree and power lines, according to PennDOT Press Officer Jim Struzzi.

KDKA reported that the tree fell onto a car, but the driver was not seriously injured.
