Police said a citation would be filed via summons for an accident involving damage to unattended property.

A witness told police that he saw the vehicle leave the road and strike the mailbox located at 402 Wynstone Drive, police said.

The vehicle continued through the property located at 402, damaging the landscaping, and 404 Wynstone Drive, striking two garbage cans, landscaping beds and two underground utility boxes, the report stated.

The vehicle continued through the front yard of 406 Wynstone Drive, damaging the yard, then returned to the road and appeared to be still out of the control of the driver, the witness told police.

“The vehicle did not stop but continued south on Wynstone Drive. The residents at each location exited their houses and discovered the damage to their property. Various vehicle parts, white wheel fender/flair, metal running board plate, and chrome moldings were recovered at the scene," according to the police report.

The road had been salted within the preceding 24 hours, but no weather-related conditions appeared to be present to contribute to the cause of the accident, police said.
