Franklin Park Police Investigate Rash of Vehicle Break-Ins

Police say the break-ins usually occurred between midnight and 3 a.m. along two particular streets.

Franklin Park Police are warning residents about a number of thefts from vehicles parked in residential communities near Rochester and Nicholson Roads.

Police say the break-ins usually occurred between midnight and 3 a.m., most often when valuables, such as purses, were left in plain view.

Police say it's best to park vehicles in a well lit area if possible, NOT leave
anything of value in view, and of course, lock your car.

Anyone with information about these recent vehicle break-ins is asked to call the Franklin Park Police (412) 473-3056.
