Fog Advisory For Eastern PA

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a dense fog advisory for the eastern Pennsylvania, which is in effect until 12 noon today.

* Visibilities...one quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...areas of dense fog will occur this morning, then improvements to the visibility should occur from south to north as a warm front moves through toward the midday hours.

* Impacts...significant restrictions in the visibility will make traveling difficult, especially during this mornings commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.

I just wrote to Erin Faulk of the Patch. She's has been wonderful in the past about addressing issues so I thought maybe it would help. How do we know that folks were fired? Where did you read about that or hear that?

Bethany, the Patch reported on the downsizing. In Upper Saucon, we lost a very effective editor and friend to the community. It used to be an election, community event, school issue was reported overnight. Now, we hardly know there was an election for Township Supervisor in Lower Milford, that the Board has 1 more meeting before deciding on the destiny of our neighborhood schools. `When reported it is mostly a rehash of the Morning Call or Express Times a couple of weeks after the event.

The Patch emails are nothing but old news. I'm unsubscribing now.

This kind of thing never happened when Brittany Tressler was in charge. I too am surprised that we're having the same news that is no longer news. The fog was Friday, now it's Monday and the fog has been over and done with for 3 days. Let's get your act together, please.
