Fire Fundraiser: Take a Bite to Support the Richland Fire Department

Dine at Emiliano's on Route 8 Thursday and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the fire department.

On Thursday, a local restaurant is making it easy for customers to support their fire department while satisfying their stomachs.

On Aug. 1, the Emiliano’s Mexican Restaurant on Route 8 in Richland will donate 15 percent of its sales to the Richland and North Hampton volunteer fire departments.

The fundraiser runs all day.

Richland Fire Chief James Kelly said fire trucks would be outside the restaurant from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Everyone is welcome to attend the family-friendly event.

Richland firefighters typically try to hold a restaurant fundraiser twice a year to support the department, Kelly said.
