According to the criminal complaint, officers were dispatched to Walmart at about 8:30 p.m. July 30 for a theft in progress. A woman, later identified as Senopole, was seen running from the store with several game system controllers, a book and a purse she did not pay for, the complaint said.

She jumped into a silver car driven by Collins that was parked near the store entrance and they took off toward Route 19, according to investigators.

Patrolling pulled Senopole and Collins over a short time later near the border of Cranberry and Jackson townships, the complaint said.

Cranberry police officers who arrived at the scene said they saw numerous stamp bags inside the passenger door handle where Senopole was sitting. Jackson Township police also located a syringe on Collins, the complaint said.

After police searched Collins, they also found a cloth change purse that contained six syringes, 15 empty stamp bags, a spoon with a bit of suspected heroin baked on it, a stamp bag containing suspected heroin and a shoelace with a slip knot tied in it, the complaint states.

A female officer searched Senopole at the Cranberry police station and found she was hiding a prescription pill bottle containing two Suboxone pills near her groin, the complaint said. Senopole did not have proof of a prescription for the drug at the time of her arrest, according to investigators.

Police said Senopole has three prior convictions for retail theft, including one juvenile conviction. Collins was on probation for drug possession at the time of his arrest, the complaint said.

After a search of the vehicle Collins was driving, police discovered a blue cloth purse that contained five PlayStation 3 controllers.

From the passenger side door, officers collected 17 empty stamp bags, a bent spoon with suspected heroin residue, several syringe depressors and a couple of syringe caps, the complaint said.

Senopole’s wallet contained four receipts dated in late July from three GameStop stores in the area. Altogether, Senopole returned eight controllers within four days for about $172 in cash, the complaint said.
