Patch Boards: An Easy Way to Instantly Connect with Your Pine-Richland Neighbors
Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something!
One of the new features on Patch is "Boards."
Located at the top center of the Pine-Richland Patch home page, the "Boards" enable you to make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something.
On the "All Boards" page, you can check out the latest posts from your neighbors or Patch local editor Jessica Sinichak. You can also select a specific board, depending on what interests you:
- On the "Announcements" board, you'll see posts like this one about the Waddell's Music Center anniversary sale.
- The "Buy, Sell, Trade" board works just like a newspaper classifieds section. It's a great way to find what you want locally, such as this information about a home for sale in Gibsonia.
- The "Business Updates" board provides local shop owners with a chance to reach out to customers, telling them about specials or store hour changes, or offers
- "Speak Out" board gives your voice a forum. Disagree with your neighbor? Don't just stew over it; write about it. You can also engage your neighbors -- like Patch Editor Richard Cook did when trying to find out about a crazy little bird which kept trying to fly through the closed window of his house.
The "Boards" feature lets Patch be the virtual gathering place for people in the Pine-Richland area.
