UPMC CancerCenter Needs Your Votes in Pink Glove Dance Competition!

The competition raises breast cancer awareness. If UPMC CancerCenter wins, money will be donated to Dignity Robes.

Hello,

My name is Kelly Flanigan, and I work in Media Relations for UPMC CancerCenter. I am writing in hopes that perhaps you can help me to promote a contest for a great cause that UPMC is participating in.

UPMC CancerCenter entered this year’s Pink Glove Dance competition – a competition run by Medline to raise breast cancer awareness.  Our video includes numerous UPMC CancerCenter sites, including our East location and Magee, 15 departments and over 200 survivors, employees and advocates.

Yesterday we broke through the top 10 videos in terms of votes but we really need to galvanize the community to help us win. The money we win will be donated to Dignity Robes, an organization that sews robes for women undergoing radiation treatment for breast cancer.

Voting is going on now, and ends on November 2nd. The winners will be announced on November 9th!
