From Your Patch Editor: Thank You, Readers

Well, it’s been a wonderful ride.

Tuesday, Oct. 15, will be my last day as editor of Cranberry Patch and Pine-Richland Patch. Patch is reorganizing and the plan does not include having local editors oversee the Pittsburgh Patch sites.

I have no regrets. Since I took over Pine-Richland Patch in March from founding editor Cindy Micco, it has been a delight to cover you.

Your kind words at meetings and events, your news tips and your comments are all deeply appreciated.

This job has allowed me to meet some terrific people and cover some amazing stories.

With that said, I still strongly believe in hyper-local news. In the coming months—including a break once my baby is born in December—I plan to continue to report on the happenings in the Cranberry area (where I live) from another platform.

In the meantime, Pine-Richland Patch is not going away.

Patch is reviewing alternatives for some of its sites, including this one, so rest assured you will still be able to continue to use your Patch to post your blogs, events and announcements.

If you'd like to stay in touch, I can be reached at Jessica.Sinichak@acrosscranberry.com.
