Home of the Year: Pittsburgh Magazine Chooses 'Tuscan Dream' in Pine Township
The lakefront house is in the Lake MacLeod neighborhood.
If you're imagining a dream home while visions of Italy dance in your head, look no farther than the Lake MacLeod neighborhood in Pine Township.
That is where you'll find the Tuscan-styled home that Pittsburgh Magazine has dubbed its 2013 Home of the Year for new construction.
"This four-story, 8,000-square-foot home has Tuscan details throughout—arched doorways, marble inlays, an octagonal rotunda that runs through all four levels and two outdoor living areas—one an open-air balcony and the other a covered loggia with tile floor stone fireplace and view of the lake. A little taste of Italy in the ‘burbs—only in the 'Burgh," the article says.
